His athleticism has helped him fashion a lengthy NHL career as a backup or tandem goaltender with some terrific highs. As a rare NHL netminder who is less than six feet tall, his lack of size is a detriment at times. At his best, he is capable of carrying a team for weeks at a time. However, he has been plagued by injuries and inconsistency.
