Is a good playmaker from his natural center position. Owns a good wrist shot and sound defensive instincts. Is a tireless worker. Can snipe, too. Is an asset on both special teams. Lacks ideal National Hockey League size and strength, and is only average in the skating department. Does not always play with optimum consistency in all areas of the game.
