Scouting Report
Owned the hands, shot and awareness of a natural goal-scoring center. Had great size and reach to fend off blueliners, and decent speed for a big man. Could play a complete game when he was on top of things. Was a bit of a streaky point producer and was somewhat inconsistent at the face-off dot. Got into trouble at the National Hockey League level when he stopped moving his feet. He was a very good leader and a franchise center in the prime of his NHL career.
Long Range Potential: Outstanding scoring center and leader.
