Scouting Report
Owned a heavy point shot and had good instincts that endeared him to his coaches. Was a quality teammate. Loved to initiate contact. Played with plenty of poise. Was somewhat limited in terms of his skating, so he struggled at times when given too many top-four rearguard minutes. Was also an inconsistent point producer. Unfortunately, an eye injury ended his NHL stint prematurely, though he did enjoy a lengthy career.
Long Range Potential: Quality defenseman.
