Scouting Report
Excelled in defensive situations. Was a pretty good skater and generally made solid outlet passes. Also had a fairly good shot that could be somewhat effective on the power play, though he was not a regular on that unit. Was not a natural puck handler, so he was not power-play quarterback material. Did not use his physicality to intimidate opponents enough, which lessened his ability to dominate smaller forwards. Injuries were an issue.
Long Range Potential: Inconsistent but talented defenseman, when healthy.
