Nemec (undisclosed) sustained an injury during Friday's practice and will miss some time, Amanda Stein of the Devils' official site reports Saturday.

Scouting Report

The well-rounded defenseman from Slovakia excelled against men before being taken No. 2 overall in the 2022 draft. He moves the puck extremely well, has high-end hockey sense and plays with excellent pace. He is dangerous in transition thanks to his speed and skill, and that skating ability and hockey sense help make him a solid defender. Will need to add some strength, but all the tools for success are there.

Long Range Potential: Talented all-around defenseman with huge upside.
