Scouting Report
The third Hughes brother to be taken early in the first round of an NHL draft is an elite skater with projectable size and offensive skills. His edge work is terrific, and his combination of speed and skill help him generate lots of controlled zone entries and exits. He has to learn to be more careful with the puck, though.
Long Range Potential: Dynamic offensive defenseman with big upside.
