Evangelista collected two assists, one on the power play, in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Golden Knights.
Evangelista distributed a power-play assist and put four shots on goal in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Wild.
His second cousin is Brendan Shanahan but he plays a much different game than the former NHL power forward. He generates many of his points by distributing the puck and with deft passing skills. Is also improving as a finisher, although more work is required in that department. He also needs to add more bulk and get physically stronger in order to maximize output at the National Hockey League level. Point production seems to come quite naturally to him, but he needs to prove himself in the professional ranks.
Long Range Potential: Talented, playmaking winger.
