Kuznetsov scored the game-winning goal and added an assist in Monday's 7-4 victory over the Sabres.
Kuznetsov scored a goal on two shots, added two hits and blocked four shots in Friday's 5-3 win over the Panthers.
What stands out above all with him is his great skating ability combined with NHL size and bulk. Defends his position well and is rather difficult to beat due to his size/speed package. Is still quite raw and unrefined; he needs to work on better utilizing his physical gifts (specifically in terms of his aggressiveness) as well as showing more ability in the offensive zone. He is not a candidate to quarterback a power play but has the chops to serve a shutdown/defensive role at the highest level.
Long Range Potential: Big, mobile but raw defenseman with upside.
