Jarvis (upper body) returned to practice Thursday, Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site reports.
Jarvis (upper body) is week-to-week, the team announced Monday.
Earned his chance to play in the NHL after putting up big offensive numbers in junior hockey. Is a slick playmaker who is likely to end up on the wing, though he can play in the middle. Is just 5'10" and will need to get a lot stronger to survive the grind of the NHL,but he is not afraid to go to the front of the net and get into the high-traffic areas. His hockey IQ helps him make up for a lack of straight-line speed.
Long Range Potential: Slick, versatile playmaking forward with upside.
