A true pocket penetrator and run-stuffer. Uncommonly strong, and will just plain manhandle some opponents. Superb at stuffing the run up the middle: reads and redirects to the ball-carrier with excellent quickness. Brings a supreme push off the snap, can bull-rush the QB with regularity, and gets his hands up in passing lanes. Somewhat undersized for a middle-of-the-line D-tackle, in terms of height and arm length; doesn't make up for his lack of size with top-end foot-speed or explosiveness. Relies heavily on his excellent strength, and must keep developing his technique to deal with mobile, jumbo-sized blockers.
Long Range Potential: Powerhouse run-stuffing interior D-lineman.
