Coach Sean Payton noted Wednesday that Gregory will be released if he's not traded within the next 24 to 48 hours, Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette reports.
The Broncos are expected to release Gregory on Wednesday, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.
Has great height for an outside 'backer, plus he's very strong too. Plays the game with ferocity and is plenty tough. Also displays very good closing speed and athleticism, making him a potentially elite defender. Is a solid defender against the run, and displays great potential as a pass rusher. Is extremely raw and will need to work on his quickness off the snap and overall technique in order to maximize output in the NFL. Has already had issues with failed drug tests, so he needs to become more mature over time. Also needs to add more bulk for the highest level.
Long Range Potential: Raw but very athletic outside linebacker, with issues.
