Phillips racked up eight tackles (six solo) during the Patriots' 27-24 overtime loss to the Packers on Sunday.

As tough mentally as he is physically, he was rejected by the pros in his draft year and forced to prove his worth the hard way. Rises above his weight class as an undersized run defender. Shows plenty of strength and speed in coverage against tight ends, running backs and slot receivers. Will sell out his body to make plays. Can also be a special teams juggernaut. Durability concerns linger, as he has had trouble staying on the field at the NFL level. His aggressive demeanor cuts both ways.
