Lamb isn't likely to report for the start of training camp July 24 if he doesn't have a new contract by then, according to Jon Machota of The Athletic.
Lamb is holding out from June minicamp in pursuit of a new contract, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
He may arrive as a Lamb but often leaves like a lion after gorging on vulnerable defenses. Can bite off chunks with his straight-line speed and separation skills as a receiver/returner. Makes fluid adjustments in flight and snags/secures throws outside his frame. Excels at extending plays after the catch; he is slick and elusive as an open-field runner and stretches the third level as an ever present scoring threat. His skills must be optimized in a wide open passing offense. Must sharpen his route running and adapt to physical, pro caliber coverage.
Long Range Potential: Explosive playmaker and one-touch scoring threat.
