Lake (elbow) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.
The Rams designated Lake (elbow) to return from injured reserve Thursday, and the two sides also agreed to a three-year, $42 million contract extension the same day, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
The son of former NFL safety Carnell Lake has a high football IQ and excellent ball skills that help compensate for a lack of elite speed and athleticism. He sees the field well and is an excellent tackler. Needs to get stronger and take better angles to the ball. His special teams experience in college football helps him earn snaps in the NFL and gives him time to show how he can fit into a defensive scheme.
