Chandler (knee) was placed on injured reserve Thursday.
Head coach Kevin O'Connell said during Wednesday's press conference that Chandler suffered a knee injury during the Vikings' 27-24 win over the Bears on Monday.
The versatile running back stepped up his game as a college football senior, but will have to bump it up again to succeed at the NFL level. He follows his blockers well, stays low and can build up speed to get into the open field, although it takes him a while to process plays and hit holes. His speed and soft hands make him a threat in the passing game, and he also has experience returning kicks.
Long Range Potential: Depth running back.
