The Buccaneers placed Kieft on injured reserve Tuesday due to a leg injury, Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports.
Kieft went without a target while playing six of the Buccaneers' 82 snaps on offense in Monday's 41-31 loss to the Ravens.
A throwback, the blocking tight end likes to get down and dirty. He is extremely competitive, gets to the perimeter well and knows how to get to the second level as well. Has soft hands and presents a big target for quarterbacks, but lacks straight-line speed and is somewhat slow coming out of his breaks. However, he blocks well enough to have an impact without catching many passes.
Long Range Potential: Old-school blocking tight end.
