Minshew completed 44 of 76 passes for 663 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions across five appearances (two starts) with the Eagles in 2022. He also had seven carries for three yards and a score, plus four fumbles (one lost).
Minshew completed 14 of 17 passes for 142 yards in Sunday's 21-20 preseason win over the Browns.
Likely the antithesis of a prototypical NFL quarterback, he augments average physical tools with grit, persistence and a high football IQ. Overcomes limited arm strength with exceptional accuracy and deft touch. Was schooled in the pass-happy "Air Raid" offense at Washington State University. Is game and fearless on designed runs and an effective scrambler under pressure. Is also a charismatic and respected leader in the huddle. Considered short by NFL standards, his throws can lack zip. Is not fleet of foot, nor is he overly gifted with natural athleticism.
