Streveler (thumb) reverted to the Jets' injured reserve Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Streveler completed one of seven passes for nine yards and one interception in Thursday's 21-16 preseason loss to the Browns. He added seven yards on one rushing attempt.
The mobile quarterback came to the NFL after finishing his collegiate career at the University of South Dakota and then helping Winnipeg win the Grey Cup in 2019. Has yet to get much opportunity to show what he can do at the NFL level, but he was a running threat in the CFL; he fits best in an offense that calls for a quarterback to be able to carry the ball as well as throw it.
Long Range Potential: Mobile depth quarterback.
