Oliver won't return to Sunday's game against the Packers due to an ankle injury.

Oliver is set to operate as the Vikings' starting tight end during Sunday's season finale against the Packers, with T.J. Hockenson (shoulder) ruled out for Week 18, Dane Mizutani of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

Scouting Report

Groomed primarily as a receiving tight end, he has the length and athleticism to become a downfield threat as well as a slot/possession target. A proficient route runner with excellent body control and leaping ability, he gets great extension and his big hands allow him to make the improbable catch. Adjusts well to errant throws. Struggles with physicality, so he must win more 50/50 balls. His lower body lacks strength for in-line blocking, which could limit his snap count at the highest level. His overall blocking skills are a detriment.

Long Range Potential: Solid, receiving tight end with some upside.
