Davis signed a one-year deal with the Lions on Friday, Justin Rogers of The Detroit News reports.
Davis recorded 46 tackles, half of a sack and two forced fumbles over 14 games in 2020.
Capable of doing it all as a linebacker: can pile up tackles, get into the backfield for sacks, and is good dropping back to defend passes. A good tackler who makes his share of plays all over the field. Has a big enough frame to get the job done as a pro linebacker, with more than enough bulk to compete in the NFL. Must show he has the foot-speed to reach his pro potential, as well as the explosiveness to consistently get past pro blockers. Needs to additionally demonstrate he has enough muscular strength to succeed.
Long Range Potential: Do-it-all interior linebacker with starter talent.
