The Giants placed Cager (groin) on injured reserve Saturday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Tall and fluid, he has the ready means to get open by exploiting constant mismatches against shorter defenders. Built like an NBA small forward, he casts a wide net with long limbs and extension to make plays in tight coverage and win jump balls. Has smooth mechanics in and out of pass routes; he presents an ideal possession and red zone target and excels at securing the catch. Frequent injuries sapped his college output so durability questions will linger at the pro level.
Long Range Potential: Sure-handed, possession wide receiver with a little upside.
