Allen is signing a three-year, $60 million contract with the Vikings, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
A real force on the D-line: shows excellent explosiveness off the snap, and is a skilled and smart technician who knows how to shed blockers. Constantly pressures the pocket and does a superb job adjusting to pick up the run when the pass rush isn't there. Also a savvy defender who gets his hands up in passing lanes, and a team leader type with good work ethic. Isn't all that fast in the open field and doesn't possess ideal overall size for the defensive line. Plays a bit like a defensive tackle but would benefit from more muscle mass to line up in that role regularly. Must find his niche in the NFL to get the most from his exceptional athleticism and technique.
