A tough, physical man-to-man defender who was very skilled for his size. Showed good range on his jumper (out to the 3-point line) and could score in a variety of ways. An intense battler in the post who could contain bigger players and guard several positions well. Improved his ball security over the years. His intensity and temper boiled over too often, getting him into foul trouble. Lost focus when calls didn't go his way. Took too many perimeter shots and didn't usually put up a good field-goal percentage for a post player. Not much of a passer.
