Ayton had 17 points (8-11 FG, 1-2 FT), 10 rebounds, three assists and one block in 35 minutes during Wednesday's 116-115 win over the Timberwolves.
The whole package at center: he's a true 7-footer with the length, frame, and back-to-the-basket moves to dominate around the hoop, yet he also has the fluid athleticism and shooting range of a forward. Nimble, with great hands and a sweet stroke. He's additionally highly instinctive and efficient, constantly making smart plays. While long and strong, he can use more muscle mass on his frame to avoid getting pushed around in the NBA paint. Despite excellent vision and anticipation he can be more productive as a passer. Sometimes settles for a finesse game when he could simply overpower his opponents.
