Williams (knee) will undergo surgery on his left knee Tuesday and will be re-evaluated in six to eight weeks, Justin Martinez of The Oklahoman reports.
Williams will undergo an arthroscopic left knee surgery Monday, Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints.com reports.
He's a strong, hustling defensive playmaker who piles up rebounds and steals. Shows excellent agility for defensive assignments, and he has the height and reach to succeed at either guard or forward. Takes smart shots and has become a good perimeter shooter. Team first, and a good passer for a wing. He's not a take-charge scorer and he doesn't use his size ideally to get in the paint and draw fouls. A middling free throw shooter too. Despite good standing reach, he lacks ideally long arms for an NBA wing.
Long Range Potential: Super-solid '3-and-D' swingman with rotational ability.
