Scouting Report
Very well-sized for an NBA point guard, with excellent length. Quick, and does a great job consistently penetrating and creating off the dribble to put constant pressure on the 'D.' Finishes well at the rim, and can hit for a high percentage from the field. Gets his share of steals, rebounds solidly, and has defensive upside. He's turnover-prone and sometimes forces things too much with his penetrating style, and struggles to consistently hit 3-point shots to get defenders to back off him. Needs to shoot it better from the arc. Also must answer questions about durability after tearing his ACL.
Long Range Potential: Long, athletic, penetrating point guard with some starter tools.
