Clarke will undergo a procedure to address knee synovitis and will be re-evaluated in six weeks, Shams Charania of ESPNreports.
Clarke received an orthobiologic injection in his right knee Monday, but he will not require surgery and is expected to make a full recovery prior to the 2025-26 regular season.
There are few players with his athletic ability. He does his best work above the rim and can be a major force when rebounding the basketball at either end of the floor. Dunks the ball with aplomb and is a solid finisher at the hoop. Is also an excellent defender who can play either the four or the five position (at any level). In order to survive the grind of the NBA game over time, he needs to get stronger and add more bulk to his frame. Has a lot of intangibles for prolonged success.
Long Range Potential: Talented, all-around big man with good upside.
