Brooks is out for Sunday's game against the Clippers with left adductor soreness.
Brooks closed Sunday's 147-136 overtime loss to Dallas with 29 points (9-14 FG, 5-6 3Pt, 6-7 FT), two rebounds, two assists and three steals in 42 minutes.
A smart, feisty wing who plays the game with great intensity. He brings a well-rounded offensive game, showing the ability to consistently make the right play. Has good range on his jumper (out to the arc) with a lot of clutch ability, and does a great job finding open teammates. Works hard, and has some leadership qualities. Is not a big-play defensive guy or much of a rebounder, mostly because he lacks ideal length, reach, and fluidity. He's foul-prone as well, and doesn't help matters when he lets his trademark intensity boil over into unneccesary physicality or arguing. Must show his history of injury issues is behind him.
Long Range Potential: High-intensity, playmaking rotational wing.
