Scouting Report
Was a true speedster that usually made things happen when on base. Could bunt for base hits or to advance runners. Had excellent team-first and leadership qualities. Had a reputation for hitting poorly against left-handers. His bat was not consistent enough to be an elite leadoff man. Had a tendency to go into prolonged hitting funks.
