The Guardians placed Karinchak on the 60-day injured list Thursday with right shoulder inflammation.

Karinchak (shoulder) has been cleared to begin a throwing progression Monday, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.
Scouting Report
Has an ideal pitcher's frame (6'3", 230 pounds), so he is able to generate tremendous power with his delivery. As a result, he can dominate via the strikeout in the minor leagues. Therefore, he is a solid candidate to be used in the later innings in Major League Baseball. Control can be an issue, though.
Long Range Potential: Inconsistent, power reliever with some upside.
