Haseley was designated for assignment by the White Sox on Tuesday, LaMond Pope of the Chicago Tribune reports.
The White Sox optioned Haseley to Triple-A Charlotte on Friday.
Is a natural hitter with a great approach to all fields. Makes solid, consistent contact quite often. Can slug for some power but his level swing is more conducive to hitting line drives all over the field. Runs well and can steal bases. Can cover the ground in center field but is also adept at playing either outfield corner. Will always need to hit for a high average to ensure regular playing time in MLB.
Long Range Potential: Talented, line-drive hitter and solid outfielder with upside.
