Straw went 1-for-3 with a double, a walk, two steals and a run scored in Tuesday's win over the Pirates.
Blessed with outstanding speed, he can cover plenty of ground in the outfield. Has a strong throwing arm, so he is capable of playing all three outfield positions (which adds value). Makes a lot of consistent contact at the plate. Is mostly an opposite-field hitter, so he does not have much home-run power. Therefore, he needs to prove he can play every day in Major League Baseball (the jury is out), since he profiles more as a role player.
Long Range Potential: Speedy outfielder with some upside.
