Suarez came away with a no-decision in Sunday's 7-6 win over the Marlins. He allowed six runs on nine hits and two walks.
Suarez came away with a no-decision in Wednesday's 5-2 loss to the Padres, allowing one run on six hits over six innings. He struck out four without walking a batter.
A left-hander with good stuff, he is hard to hit against and can make hitters generally uncomfortable in the batter's box. Is particularly tough on left-handed hitters. Needs to become a better control artist if he is to become a capable pitcher in MLB. May not have enough command of his arsenal to pitch as a starter in the bigs.
Long Range Potential: Talented, inconsistent left-hander with upside.
