Schreiber signed a one-year, $1.175 million contract with the Red Sox on Thursday to avoid arbitration, Rob Bradford of WEEI.com reports.
Scouting Report
Has an ideal pitchers' frame for Major League Baseball. Generally displays good control and solid command of his offerings. Can strike plenty of batters out, and be used as a closer, at the minor-league level. Needs to become a more consistent pitcher in order to succeed over time in MLB.
Long Range Potential: Decent reliever with a little upside.
