Knizner went 1-for-2 with two RBI, a triple and a walk in Wednesday's 4-3 win over the Cardinals.
Knizner is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Dodgers.
Owns a lot of value for MLB due to his bat: he can hit to all fields, make consistent line-drive contact and produce a solid batting average at all levels. His plate coverage is also a major plus. Because of his propensity to make contact, he does not draw a lot of walks (but does not strike out a ton, either). While he has leadership qualities and can call a good game, his defense behind the dish is below-average overall. Also, his line-drive approach could curb his home-run totals at the highest level.
Long Range Potential: Depth catcher.
