Boasts awesome hand/eye coordination and excellent pitch recognition skills. Makes consistent, hard contact to all fields. Defensively, he has sure hands and great feet at the keystone position. Is also fairly athletic. Can get into hitting funks at times, mostly because of his high leg kick (which can sometimes throw off his timing because it is hard to repeat). Does not steal a lot of bases. His power is only average for the big leagues.
