Kieboom cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Rochester by the Nationals on Wednesday, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.
Kieboom went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run, a walk and an additional run in Friday's 10-6 win over Atlanta.
A power hitter with excellent patience, he hits home runs and draws walks with regularity. Also plays well defensively in the middle infield, which is a combination that holds a ton of value. His arm is strong enough to play shortstop in MLB, but he can also play at the keystone position. Needs to manage his number of strikeouts at the highest level in order to maximize output.
Long Range Potential: Power-hitting, run-producing middle infielder with big upside.
