Lopez agreed to a minor-league contract with the Diamondbacks on Wednesday, Alex Weiner of ArizonaSports.com reports.
Scouting Report
An excellent hitter for average, he makes consistent contact and also has a very good knowledge of the strike zone (his BB/K ratio is usually very good). Has excellent baseball instincts, both on offense and with the glove. Can steal bases but he is not an elite athlete. A solid middle infielder, his range will likely limit him to second base at the highest level.
Long Range Potential: Versatile infielder.
