Tinoco underwent UCL reconstruction surgery on his right arm Friday, Alex Krutchik of Fish on First reports.
Tinoco (forearm) will undergo surgery to repair his right forearm flexor and is expected to miss most, or all, of the 2026 season, Daniel Alvarez-Montes of ElExtraBase.com reports.
Owns a very projectable (6'4") pitcher's frame and the ability to throw a lot of strikes when on top of his game. Is very aggressive in his approach to pitching, but also silky-smooth in his delivery. Is not a dominant hurler, and strikeouts can be harder to achieve for him than other pitchers in MLB. Also, he needs more work on his slider and changeup. Must improve his overall command.
Long Range Potential: Decent right-hander.
