Webb (7-7) took the loss against the Blue Jays on Wednesday, allowing seven runs on eight hits and one walk over five innings while striking out four.
Webb came away with a no-decision in Tuesday's 7-6 extra-inning loss to the Pirates, allowing two runs on six hits and a walk over six innings. He struck out six.
A three-pitch pitcher with an athletic body (he was a high-school quarterback), he has an excellent feel for pitching. Is also fearless when he takes the hill. While he throws a fastball and curve, his best offering is probably his circle-changeup, which can be a true out-pitch. Injuries have significantly slowed his development.
Long Range Potential: Solid, athletic right-hander with some upside.
