Atlanta transferred Bummer (shoulder) to the 60-day injured list Thursday.
Atlanta announced Saturday that Bummer (shoulder) has resumed a throwing program, but the left-hander hasn't yet been cleared for bullpen sessions, MLB.com reports.
Has a solid frame (6'3", 215 pounds) for Major League Baseball, plus plenty of strikeout ability at all levels. Has shown an ability to pitch effectively in the late innings in the minors. Needs to prove he can handle late-inning pressure at the highest level in order to maximize output. Also, he has a tendency of getting into trouble when he walks too many batters.
Long Range Potential: Decent left-handed reliever.
