Manager Terry Francona said that Suter will serve as the Reds' opening pitcher in a bullpen game Saturday against the Cardinals, Gordon Wittenmyer of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

The Reds activated Suter from the bereavement list Friday.
Scouting Report
Owns a very projectable frame, and his lanky left-handedness causes plenty of deception for batters. Is somewhat crafty (a classic left-hander). Can be far too hittable at times, even in the minor leagues, so he must do a better job of getting big-league batters out consistently to maximize output.
Long Range Potential: Savvy left-hander.
