The Phillies transferred Ortiz (shoulder/ankle/forearm) to the 60-day injured list Friday, Alex Coffey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Ortiz (shoulder/ankle) was removed from his rehab appearance Tuesday with Triple-A Lehigh Valley due to forearm soreness, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.
Is pretty consistent with his fastball, and his slider can be a go-to offering because he can generate a lot of deception with it. Displays good control on the mound. His weight needs to constantly be in check, so his conditioning can suffer as a result. Needs to become a little more of a swing-and-miss pitcher for the big leagues.
Long Range Potential: Quality, portly right-hander with upside.
