Zimmer wasn't included on the Blue Jays' roster for the AL Wild Card Series versus the Mariners, Kaitlyn McGrath of The Athletic reports.
Zimmer was claimed off waivers by the Blue Jays on Monday.
Owns burgeoning power, an excellent batting eye and the ability to get on base with regularity. Also uses his tremendous speed as both an offensive and defensive weapon (on base and in the outfield). If he is to maximize his immense talent in Major League Baseball, he will need to somewhat reduce his propensity to strike out a ton. Must also prove himself against the top left-handers in the big leagues.
Long Range Potential: Talented, multi-skilled outfielder with upside.
