Hoffman earned the save in Wednesday's 4-3 win over the Dodgers, allowing a hit and a walk while striking out two in a scoreless ninth inning.

Hoffman (1-1) blew a save and took the extra-inning loss against the White Sox on Friday, allowing two unearned runs on two hits and no walks with one strikeout while recording two outs in the 10th inning.

Scouting Report

Has a great fastball with excellent movement, so he can induce plenty of groundball outs. His curve is a true strikeout pitch, and he adds a quality changeup and slider. Also owns an ideal pitchers' frame. Must do a better job of pitching inside so as to keep Major League Baseball batters honest. May not become a big strikeout pitcher in the big leagues, so he will need solid defense behind him all the time.

Long Range Potential: Solid right-hander with a little upside.
