The Cubs transferred Steele (elbow) to the 60-day injured list Wednesday, Sahadev Sharma of The Athletic reports.
Scouting Report
Boasts three pitches with the potential to become quality offerings: fastball, curve and changeup. Also displays a very projectable (6-2) frame and plenty of athleticism on the mound. Is still quite raw and unrefined as a pitcher, so he needs to learn how to repeat his delivery and set up batters better in order to maximize output at the highest level. Needs to add bulk.
Long Range Potential: Raw, talented left-hander with upside.
