The Marlins outrighted Gonzalez to Triple-A Jacksonville on Sunday after he cleared waivers.

Gonzalez was designated for assignment by the Marlins on Friday, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
Scouting Report
Owns a versatile glove, pretty good pop in his bat and some stolen-base ability. Also has pretty good bat control, so he displays an ability to make consistent contact. Does not maximize his power in the big leagues, despite his solid frame. Also, he could stand to draw more walks in order to improve his batting average in MLB.
Long Range Potential: Versatile infielder.
