The Angels signed Candelario to a minor-league contract Tuesday that includes an invitation to spring training, Jon Heyman of the New York Post reports.

Scouting Report

A switch-hitter, he displays enough home-run upside to remain a viable corner infield option. Is also learning how to become more disciplined and take more pitches. Does not have a lot of speed, so he won't steal a ton of bases at the highest level. Also, he needs to put it all together in order to take his game to the next level.

Long Range Potential: Solid corner infielder with some upside.
