Can strike out a lot of batters, especially left-handed hitters--who are vulnerable against him, especially due to his devastating slider. Has great size (6-4, 205 pounds) for MLB. Does not own enough of a pitching repertoire, beyond the slider, to be used in more than situational outings in the big leagues. Struggles against right-handed hitters.
